Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC)

The total cost of acquiring a new customer, including marketing spend, sales team salaries, and tool costs divided by the number of new customers gained. Reducing CAC while maintaining lead quality is critical for DTC profitability. Catching missed inbound leads is one of the cheapest ways to lower CAC because the leads are already coming to you.
